Thats me being a bit lazy, you can also put your paint out on the palette and mix it up with a bit of water like you would normally to paint.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15794645175152724443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8419510969621550306.post-21373321416724034372014-01-09T23:43:50.302-08:002014-01-09T23:43:50.302-08:00Did you wet the sponges before dabbing the tiles?Did you wet the sponges before dabbing the tiles?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16786612774046724453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8419510969621550306.post-39383388647323224592013-12-18T03:19:16.620-08:002013-12-18T03:19:16.620-08:00Thanks, galaticianThanks, galaticianAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15794645175152724443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8419510969621550306.post-67531998418002324072013-12-17T10:22:17.033-08:002013-12-17T10:22:17.033-08:00Thanks for the guide!!! Basically you spray the vertical tiles from the their top edge after you have primed them with black paint. This gives you a 'drop-shadow' effect, where less of the primary colour, grey in this case, is on the bottom surfaces of raised details. It saves you having to worry too much about shading. Not that there's anything wrong with adding shading later if you wish. Its just both the guides I did are about painting lots of tiles quickly and with a simple level of detail.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15794645175152724443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8419510969621550306.post-19333348567584996862013-12-15T14:13:18.591-08:002013-12-15T14:13:18.591-08:00Great work; however, did I miss something?
